Nicely Done!

Another excellent installment in the TANKMEN franchise that is taking Newgrounds by storm. Can't wait for TANKMEN 2!

Hard, but NOT impossible!

The battle against Eggman is very, very difficult. However, after about 5 tries I have found out how to beat him.

Start off by using "Protect" IMMEDIATELY. I know it sometimes seems like it doesn't work, but it does.

Next, attack normally until the emerald is exposed, and use Triple Shot when he is charging. You have enough energy to use 3 G-Beams, however ONLY USE 1, IF ANY. They do a lot of damage, but drain your EP like a bitch.

Continue using normal attacks and Triple Shots as stated above, and heal when necessary (ie. you have 1500 HP or less). Once Eggman is down to about 4000 HP, you will probably be out of Triple Shots, but should still have a decent amount of MP. You should now use 1 Purple Vortex while he is charging, in addition to a normal attack. After getting hit, heal up, then once he is exposed again, use another Purple Vortex. Eggman should be more or less dead by this point.

Now for the review. I really like this series and can't wait for the next installment. I must say though that this isn't a true RPG, only because you can't work at your own pace. Really, the game guides you, and you simply decide the strategy of the battles.

However, despite not being a true-blue RPG, this is definately a fun series. Keep it up!

Great Review! Thnks!

An Excellent Short!

Some of the best quality movements I have ever seen in a flash movie. The FPS count was perfect, and your drawings are superb. Please, so Newgrounds a favour and make more of these. Your talents might go unseen otherwise.

For Something Made 2 Years Ago, It Ain't Bad!

I liked your concept here, however this flash is limited from its age, graphics standpoint, and lack of dialogue. However, that considered, I am quite impressed that this was your first movie. All it really needs is some Flash 8 and drawing enhancements and it will be up to code, so to speak. Keep on learning and keep on making!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do like to watch this occasionally and see how far I have come with my Flash skills. It is my own personal memento! Thanks for the review!

I liked it!

Its nothing too fancy, but it got the job done nicely. I didn't like the silence in the beginning, but the music you out in later on was good. Graphically, the character was strange, but was drawn nicely. Integrating that with a real world image created a nice effect. Overall, a pretty good movie. Keep it up!

Not Great In General, But Nice For A 1st!

Graphics -- I will NOT deduct too many marks for sprite use, as I use them myself. The explosion and blood effects were about average, but did the trick. 6/10 overall.

Style -- An original concept! Nice to see sprite artists are FINALLY moving away from the Sonic vs Mario fights:P. Anyway, you came up with an idea, and did your best to fullfill it. 7/10

Sound -- Ahh, oldschool music. Gotta love it. It matched the movements of the movie and the quality of it was nice. 8/10

Violence -- For a first sprite movie, the gore effects were pretty nice. Far from perfection, mind you, but good enough to satisfy my liking. Overall, however, not a greatly violent movie. 5/10.

Interactivity -- 1/10 for the Play button. Movies aren't meant to be interactive.

Humour -- A funny concept that you adapted nicely. Now that your skills have improved, perhaps you could make a sequal, or an improved version of this one. Anyway, I liked the humour added to the movie. 6/10

Overall -- An original idea, and a great first attempt. In terms of room for improvement, I would suggest creating more of a backstory as to WHY Mario becomes a stuntman, and maybe create a more sensical ending. Not a bad first attempt (blew my first sprite flash out of the water).

6.4/10 --> 6/10

Great review, thanks!

Absolutely Stunning...

I have heard that song before, liked it, and just let it go. This collab really gave it some deep meaning. The graphics were among the best I've seen on Newgrounds, the movements were great, and the animation was superb. This deginately raises the bar for all of the callaborations out there. Well done!

A great short!

The drawings were pretty good, if a little simplistic & the music really went along with the animation.

The movements were a little awkward, but forgivable & it was kind of disappointing having to read the description on the page containing the flash to have a clue what was going on. Perhaps in teh furture you could try to intrigate the story a littlre more and make the plot more obvious.

Overall, a very nice short. Looking forward to more! 6/10

Quite Enjoyable!

The opening provided a nice background into the story that really gave it depth. The gun sounds and drawings were excellent and the gire effects were quite good as well.

The only thing I didn't like was the stiff movements of teh characters. However, I'm not going to give you a hard time since there is no way I can do any better! :P

Overall a very nice shoot-em-up movie. Looking forward to the conclusion!

Uhh...

why was this deleted? From the sounds of the reviews, it was pretty good! Oh well, 5/10 for the flash that was....
