I'll give you a LOT of credit for originality...

because I have never seen something on Newgrounds quite like this. Its not a quite a guide, but not just audio. Its not a music video but its not greatly interactive. Whatever this is, I like it! 9/10.

I enjoyed it...

but really, its nothing innovative. I do have a few ideas:

1) Instead of just coloured lines, try turning them into various Sonic stages. That way, it would look like "Sonic meets Pacman" instead of "Sonic in Pacman."

2) The 4 ghoasts should be replaced with Sonic badniks like buzzbombers, mantis, etc.

Other than the above, this is a pretty good game and the controls are VERY responsive (a must in a Pacman game).

Its a different concept...

but there really wasn't anything to DO. All you did was drag a few items onto Sonic that made noise. However, I will give this dress-up some credit. At least it has nice drawings and sound effects. Because of those features, I feel that this can simply be discribed as a very average flash...not that great, but certaintly not that bad.

Pretty good!

I have some tips for the sequal.

1) Make a wider range of attacks. Doing the same thing over and over again kinda removes any strategy.

2) Ad a "block" button. I lost a lot of health simply because I couldn't duck or block.

3) The game had some lag in certain spots. For instance, if I quickly hit:

Up - Right - Right -Right - Left - Kick

It could sometimes take quite a while to perform the action sequences.

Not bad for releaving some anger...

but this was really bad. Some areas didn't work when you clicked and in others, clicking would cause a bullet hole to not only appear where you clicked, but also at another location far from where the shot was made. The DC Snipers had it coming to them, but you should have at least made this better!

Thanks for the memories 16-bit Sonic!

As a die-hard Sonic fan, I really liked this flash. i thought it looked good and was presented well. One thing however. Some of the sounds were really short, making for a slightly confined listening experience.

Anyway, this flash shows that 2-D isn't always inferior to 3-D. Keep up the good work!

RegisCartoons responds:

Thanx for the great review. Yeah, sounds wewre really short, but, you know, 5 Mb limit... Good luck !

Not a bad start at all!

A few sugestions for next time or if you want to try to improve this a bit:

1) Try to add sound. Simply answering questions wihout some kind of background music makes me feel like I'm at school or something.

2) When you try to click the Try Again or any answer button, you need to click it in a VERY select space to get it to work.

This isn't too bad, but try to improve in the areas above. Good luck!

A useful tutorial...

The tutorial was easy to understand and follow. Allowing viewers to truely follow along through downloads was a good idea, and this was overall a pretty big help. Good job!

FlameConker7 responds:

I'm glad I could be of some help!

Certaintly not the best...

but not bad for a start. There are still a fair number of glitches in this and some of the clothes don;t even fit properly. Once these things are fixed, I'm sure this will become a lot better.

BlackKingX responds:

We're aiming for the front page of Newgrounds for at least a few weeks. ;)

Well done!

This serves as an excellent introduction into the deep story lines and incredible drawings that are Anime. This flash was in every way very well done, keep it up!
